Drive east along Bloor Street from downtown, make a quick left onto Sherbourne, and watch the city streets and tall buildings instantly disappear. You are now in Rosedale, Toronto’s most majestic neighbourhood. Tucked away and surrounded by two tranquil ravines, Rosedale’s meandering tree-lined streets will mesmerize you and make you quickly forget that the city centre is just moments away.

Rosedale stretches from approximately Bayview Avenue, west to Yonge Street. The railway tracks that run near Summerhill Avenue serve as the northern limit, whereas Rosedale Valley Road is the southern boundary. North Rosedale is separated from South Rosedale by the Park Drive Ravine.

Rosedale is considered Toronto's wealthiest neighbourhood and an enclave for some of the city's biggest mansions housing, a who's who of the city's movers and shakers, movie stars and other local celebrities. Surrounded by beautiful ravines and parkland, Rosedale boasts clean, quiet, tree-lined streets from Yonge snaking east to Bayview and south to Bloor. A stretch of Yonge from Crescent Road to Summerhill is filled with pubs, restaurants and cafes including local favourites Lakes, The Rebel House and Caffe Doria.

South Rosedale is currently home to an exclusive all-girls school, Branksome Hall. Rosedale Public School is a small elementary school in central Rosedale that is across the street from Rosedale's community centre: Mooredale House.

Rosedale Park is home to the annual spring park party, Mayfair. The event typically consists of rides, games, flea market and other such carnival-type activities. The event is traditionally on the first Saturday in May. The event is run and funded by Mooredale House.

Some of the notable condominiums that can be found in the area are: Residences of 900 Yonge, Memphis, Rosedale Glen, Lotus Condominium, The Ramsden, The Roxborough, The Rosedale, Signatures on Bloor, The Bellagio on Bloor, The Rosedale Executive Residences, The Castlemere, Milan, The Somerset, The Three Sixty, The Kensington, Rosedale Court, Arbour Glen and Forty Glen Road and much more.
