I would like to bring the experience I had with Ed Dolatabadi in regards to the purchase of my condo, in writing.
In a very short time with my time limit and high expectations of finding a condo with exactly the criteria I had in my mind, I found working with Ed Dolatabadi a unique experience. Meaning that I needed to work with some one who just did not want to sell me a condo, fast and furious, and as I believe that we should always work for others as if we are working for ourselves and relatives. Not to make the choices for our clients, that we do not want for ourselves.
I found Ed to be all the above, very honest, patient and detailer in all aspects of making a purchase for me. His advises were very beneficial to me to make my final choice. I got exactly what I wanted to purchase with all the details I had in my mind and in my heart, I did not have to give up any of my desires in regards to buying a condo, and settle for anything but the best.
This took many many visits to many locations, in (-16) degrees to (-33). There were times that I was so tired and the only thing that got me going was how Ed would not settle for anything but the best for me, his patience and knowingness that we will find what I had my heart set on. We narrowed down many times our selections, but he knew I was not happy, so we moved on. In less than 3 weeks we finally both agreed on the purchase of the most beautiful condo in down town. I am happy with working with Ed and will refer him to my friends and family who would like to have quality in their dealings. Keep up the good work Ed, as you know very well the difference in any service given is in details and dedications, which you have a 100% if it.

I am writing this e-mail to document my very positive experience with Ed Dolatabadi when I purchased my new house in November 2008.

In November 2008, I had to move to Toronto from Edmonton (AB). I only had a couple of days to find a new place to purchase, close the contract and transfer the property. Ed was recommended to me from several friends who had dealt with him both in purchasing and selling their properties. My own experience solidified all the comments that I had received about him.

Ed listened to my unique situation, mainly my budget, location, type of property I needed, and the short period that I had to visit the locations and conclude my purchase. Before my trip, he gave me many advices on how to narrow down my search, gave me many expert advice on what neighborhood best fits my requirements, and sent me many listings through internet. This enabled me to narrow down my search before actually come to visit the locations. Then he personally visited all of the locations that I chose based on their web profile, and did some more search on the neighborhood and location. He eliminated some of the locations based on my requirements, and by the time I arrived, I only had to personally visit the best options to make up my mind. He accompanied me to visit all locations that best fit my criteria, and in each visit, he brought up not just the positive points but also the disadvantages he had discovered while he visited the place himself. These points included the plan of the house, the size and location of the kitchen (one of my criteria), the builder’s reputation, the view, the required improvement and extra expenses required to make the place suitable for my living. This made it very easy for me to compare the options and make a decision that would best fit my life style.

Once I narrowed down the choices to two places, he spent many hours with me, going over the history of the properties, their previous purchasing prices, prices that similar locations were sold recently, and showed how to prepare an offer which would guarantee me a successful bid with best possible price. Then he negotiated tirelessly with the seller to get me the best possible price. I have since moved to my dream home, and every day I notice how lucky I was to have Ed as my realtor. To this day, I didn’t encounter any surprises, nor felt that my purchase could have been better. I owe all this to Ed’s tireless efforts.

I had dealt with other realtors when I bought and sold my house in Edmonton and both cases made me very pessimistic about buying or selling houses. But Ed’s professionalism, knowledge, attitude and honesty showed me that a good realtor makes all the difference. I have recommended him to all my friends and family without reservation and never regretted it.

When my wife and I decided to accept new positions in Toronto, one of our most important concerns was “The Home”.
We had our initial meeting with Ed and he listened to our wants and needs and fully understood us. He was constantly providing us information on the houses in which we showed interest , as well as the area demographics, schools, amenities, etc. He was also viewing the homes for us and video recording all his observations.
